Where you see these
Every booking has a Police report status — the umbrella label for its SES authority filings — shown as an icon on your Bookings list (with a legend explaining the colors under "What do these mean?") and in full detail under the booking's own Police reports section, where each individual filing (RH, and later PV) gets its own status line.
The statuses
Queued — will be reported to SES. The filing is waiting for Checkinea's worker to submit it; no action needed, it will proceed on its own as long as automatic filing is turned on for the property.
Not filed yet — you've turned off automatic filing for this property, so this submission is parked until you file it yourself with the File now action. Nothing will happen until you do.
Submitting — Checkinea is sending the report to SES right now. A transient state; check back shortly.
Awaiting SES confirmation — SES has accepted the submission into its processing queue (a "lote" receipt), but hasn't yet confirmed it was recorded. Checkinea checks back automatically; no action needed unless it sits here unusually long.
Filed with SES — SES confirmed the filing and returned a reference code, shown next to the status. This obligation is fully done.
Reported by previous tool — you told Checkinea this booking was already filed by whatever tool you used before switching over, so Checkinea holds a record instead of filing it again. See Migrating to Checkinea for how that's set up and how to undo it if marked by mistake.
Error — the last attempt failed and needs a look. Open the booking's Police reports section for the specific error message from SES; once resolved, Checkinea (or you, via File now) can retry.
Blocked — SES requires some guest contact detail (email or phone) that isn't on file yet. Add it to the booking and the submission unblocks itself automatically on the next attempt.
Overdue — the filing deadline has passed and it still isn't confirmed. Treat this as urgent: check for a blocking error or missing data and resolve it as soon as possible.
Deadline approaching — not overdue yet, but getting close; Checkinea flags this so you can catch a stuck submission before it becomes overdue.
No SES activity yet — nothing has been submitted for this booking so far (for the traveler report specifically, this is normal before the guest has checked in — see RH vs PV).
Recommended action, at a glance
Most statuses (Queued, Submitting, Awaiting SES confirmation, Filed with SES, Reported by previous tool) need nothing from you — they either resolve on their own or already have. The ones that do need you: Not filed yet (use File now, or turn auto-filing back on), Error (read the message, fix it, retry), Blocked (add the missing contact detail), and Overdue/Deadline approaching (investigate before it slips further).
